An exhibition of original prints by Twelve Printmakers (12PM) at Artspace in Woodbridge from 10th – 16th May 2018.
Twelve Printmakers are an established group of East Anglian artists that were formed in 1984. The original group included Richard Bawden, Belinda King and Bernard Cheese. The aim of the group is to promote high quality handmade images using a wide variety of recognised printing techniques in limited editions as well as one-off unique images. All the prints are conceived and carried out by the artist working directly on the block, screen or plate from which the image will be made. The artists have exhibited widely in East Anglia and London and their work is held in collections at home and abroad.
The exhibition will include work by Al Brown, Carl Borges, Sally Freer, Mel King, Terry Kubecki, Kit Leese, Kitty Reford, Tony Searle, David Stone, Julia Vezza, Bryan Whiteley and Alan Woods.
