Twelve Printmakers is an established group of printmakers first formed in 1984. The aim of the group is to produce high quality handmade images using a full range of recognised print making techniques both in limited editions as well as one-off unique images.
The group is based in East Anglia, centred along the Essex/Suffolk border with close links to Gainsborough’s House Print Workshop in Sudbury and the Colchester based print studio at Cuckoo Farm. All the prints are conceived and carried out by the artist working directly on the block, plate or screen from which the print is made.
The artists have exhibited widely in East Anglia and London with their work held in collections in both the UK and abroad.
