I trained in Textile Design at Leicester College of Art, specialising in Printed Textiles,but became interested in breaking down the barriers between ‘ Art’ and ‘Craft’. For many years painting with fabric dye on satin and free machine embroidery were my chosen mediums, but recently I have put aside my machine and have been experimenting with combinations of watercolour,pencil,oil pastels and water-soluble crayons. My inspiration has remained constant- the sea, landscape and the changing seasons.

I have exhibited for many years throughout Britain, and especially at the Maltings Gallery at Snape, but this is the first major show of my new work.
