Krysten Newby
Krysten has a wonderful condition by the name of Obsessive Creative Disorder, fuelled by the wonders of nature and wildlife. Replicating the exquisite beauty within nature is something that cannot be done. However, when she attempts to portray it by putting paint to paper, or through her ethical taxidermy something ignites within her.‘I want to inspire people through my art to go out and reconnect with the beauty of nature. The wildlife that lives on our doorsteps needs to be celebrated, before it’s too late.’

Gray Jordan
Gray creates her work from pigments created from rock, soils and plants primarily gathered from the landscape around Norfolk. She combines these with either cherry tree gum or casein made from locally produced calf-at-foot milk. Experimenting with upcycled and biodegradable surfaces such as mycelium panels.Working in this way she feels that her work nurtures the land in the same way that place and the natural world nurture ourselves.

sure materials are ethically and sustainably sourced. The main ethos behind her work is to re-focus our attention on the forgotten details of our natural world.
‘Ultimately all my work is made with the natural world in mind, specifically species and habitats that are often overlooked, misunderstood or disturbed .
By bringing a visual beauty into my work I hope to install in the viewer not only pleasure but also an awareness of our need to care and protect these wonders of nature we are all part of.’
