FOUR NATURE Four artists making art with nature for nature
Maria Clarke-Wilson
Maria creates a selection of contact, botanical and eco prints using the plants gathered from around Suffolk. The work offers a calm and gentle visual experience that allows the natural marks and colours from nature to connect you to the natural world.

Krysten Newby
Krysten’s whimsical creative process is fuelled by the divine delights of nature and wildlife. In an increasingly screen distracted society that is turning their backs on nature, we are at great peril of loosing the ability to experience real magick that thrives within it. Through the medium of her paintings, ethical taxidermy sculptures and spiritual wisdom from the wilds, Krysten’s objective is to rewire people’s skeptical belief towards the powerful potential of nature. Only when your mind is unlocked to the unlimited possibilities, you will be open to receive it - “Magick is only experienced if one whole-heartedly believes in it”

Gray Jordan
Gray creates her work from pigments created from rock, soils and plants primarily gathered from the landscape around Norfolk. She combines these with either cherry tree gum or casein made from locally produced calf-at-foot milk. Experimenting with upcycled and biodegradable surfaces such as mycelium panels. Working in this way she feels that her work nurtures the land in the same way that place and the natural world nurture ourselves.

Nicola Coe
‘Ultimately all my work is made with the natural world in mind, specifically species and habitats that are often overlooked, misunderstood or disturbed.By bringing a visual beauty into my work I hope to install in the viewer not only pleasure but also an awareness of our need to care and protect these wonders of nature we are all part of.’
